Popular throughout the Indian subcontinent, this essentially Black Tea is suffused with the flavours of the continent and the spices therein. You get Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Pepper and Cardamom all coming through in this concoction of bursting flavours. A special favourite in the winter months.
Boil water and add one teaspoon of Masala Tea. After 30 seconds, turn off the heat and let it rest for 3 minutes. Sieve and serve. Add sugar or honey. Make a stronger brew if milk is to be added later on.
